What we do
We publish clear, practical guides to the Kashmir Marathon and to travelling around it: the race itself, where to stay, how to get to Srinagar, and what to do once the running is done. We also help visitors find accommodation by passing their requests to suitable hotels, houseboats and guesthouses.

Independent, and clear about it
KashmirMarathon is not the official event website. It is not owned, operated or endorsed by the Tourism Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir or the official Kashmir Marathon organisers. Registration, results and official announcements are handled only by the organisers at kashmirmarathon.jk.gov.in.
How we check what we publish
Every race fact on this site is taken from the organisers’ own pages, shown with the date we last checked it, and linked back to the source. Where the official site contradicts itself, we say so rather than guess. Travel details such as distances and prices carry the date they were collected. Read our editorial policy for the full approach.
How we make money
We earn from accommodation and travel referrals, and from clearly labelled partnerships and advertising. Paid placements are always marked. Our commercial disclosure explains exactly how it works.
