About these terms
These terms apply when you use www.kashmirmarathon.com (“the site”), run by KashmirMarathon, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India. By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
We are independent
KashmirMarathon is an independent publication. It is not the official Kashmir Marathon website and is not owned, operated or endorsed by the Tourism Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir or the official organisers. We do not take race registrations or payments, issue bibs, publish official results or handle refunds. For all of these, use kashmirmarathon.jk.gov.in.
Information on the site
We take care to keep information accurate and show when it was last checked. Event details are set by the organisers and can change at short notice. If anything on our site differs from the official site, the official site is correct. Travel information such as prices, distances and transport options is a guide only and may have changed since we checked it. Running guidance on this site is general information, not medical advice.
Accommodation requests
- Submitting a request does not create a booking or reserve anything.
- We pass your request to up to three relevant properties or travel providers, who confirm availability, prices, inclusions and cancellation terms.
- Any booking you make is a contract between you and that provider, under their terms. We are not a party to it.
- We can’t guarantee availability, prices, or that a provider will respond, and we are not responsible for a provider’s services.
- Please give accurate details. We may decline requests that look false, abusive or automated.
Partners and paid content
We earn money from some providers and partners, as explained in our commercial disclosure. Paid placements and sponsored content are always labelled.
Using our content
Text, photographs, design and graphics on the site belong to KashmirMarathon or are used with permission. You may share links and quote short extracts with credit. Please ask before reusing anything else. Event names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to describe the event.
Links to other sites
We link to official and third-party websites for your convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Our responsibility
We provide the site “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses arising from changes to the event, from a provider’s services, or from relying on information that has changed since we checked it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, have jurisdiction over any dispute.
